Be Pro Be Proud Truck Coming to South Carolina Construction Academy High School on October 6
South Carolina Construction Academy High School is excited to welcome the Be Pro Be Proud Truck to campus this fall on October 6, 2026.
This special hands-on experience gives students the opportunity to explore high-demand careers in skilled trades and technical fields through interactive activities and real-world simulations. Students will be able to learn more about career pathways, try industry-related experiences, and see how the skills they are building in high school can connect to their future.
During the visit, enrolled SCCA students will have the chance to experience activities such as:
Operating excavator simulators
Exploring what linemen do
Driving a big rig simulator
Learning about real-world skilled trade careers
Discovering career opportunities they may not have considered before
This event is an exclusive opportunity for students enrolled at South Carolina Construction Academy High School. The Be Pro Be Proud Truck visit is open only to SCCA students in grades 9–12.
At SCCA, students do more than prepare for graduation. They prepare for life, careers, technical college, college pathways, and the future ahead. Experiences like this help students connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities.
