While not all charter schools offer their own athletic programs, many—like ours—are designed to work with local school districts, so students don’t have to miss out on those experiences.

At our school, we’ve structured the day with students in mind. Classes end at 3:00 PM, allowing students time to travel to their zoned Horry County Schools campus and participate in sports programs offered there.

This means your child can:

  • Attend a specialized, career-focused high school during the day

  • AND still play for their local district-school team

STEPS TO COMPLETE

  1. Download and fill out the Intent to Participate form for Horry County Schools below

  2. Return the from to Principal, Jae Anderson, either in person or via email at janderson@SCConstructionEDU.org

  3. She will sign the form and return it to you

  4. Student takes the fully completed and signed form to the Athletic Director at their zoned Horry County school.
